All detour signs have been removed in Buhl…follow the Trail as usual. They need to do one more layer of surfacing on the streets…we have been given no date for that – perhaps not until next year – at most it will be a partial day disruption.

Clearing Winter Debris

So the snow & ice is gone from the Trail – unless Mother Nature gives us another little gift… Give our staff the next week to finish clearing all the winter debris, the rain is slowing down that process. The trail will also be bumpy in spots until the frost is gone and everything settles….

Current Trail Conditions

A bit more patience…our staff is out assessing the condition of the trail this week and starting clean-up. As of Friday there were still a few spots in the deep woods ice covered. Even when all the ice is gone, with almost 135 miles of trail, it will take some time to clear the winter…

Snow & Ice Still on the Trail

The grass in your yard may be showing – but the portions of the trail are still covered with ice and snow. Be patient…we’ll let you know when it is clear. Give our trail staff some time to clear away the winter debris…they can’t get out there until all the ice is gone.
