Update as of June 11, 2026, the Mesabi Trail is open from Pengilly to Nashwauk. Mesabi Metallics has not paved it yet and will do so in few weeks. It is a gravel for part of that section. Please proceed with caution and be safe on the gravel part. Thanks for supporting the Mesabi Trail!
