Make a Memorial or Tribute Gift

Donations and gifts in support of the Mesabi Trail are managed by Club Mesabi. The Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible. Besides cash gifts as a memorial, another option is a memorial bench along the Mesabi Trail. The cost does fluctuate, but currently with engraving – a 4 ft bench is around $1,400.00, a 6 ft bench is around $1,650.00 and an 8 ft bench is around $2,145.00. Donations are also accepted for bike repair stations located at entry point kiosks – prices fluctuate, but currently the cost per station is $2,100.00

The Mesabi Trail is owned and managed by the St Louis and Lake Counties Regional Rail Authority. The RRA is responsible for construction and maintenance of the Trail.

Club Mesabi is the “Friends” organization of the Mesabi Trail. The mission of the club is to promote and support the Mesabi Trail, and educate and advocate for use of the trail as part of a healthy lifestyle. Besides handling information and promotion relating to the trail, the club also manages trail merchandise, wheel pass sales, ad listings for local merchants, and runs the Great River Energy Mesabi Trail Tour.
