2021 New Construction

Sixteen miles of new trail are planned for the coming season:

• Two miles south and nine miles north of Embarrass – this creates a 24 mile continuous stretch from Biwabik to about nine miles past Embarrass…the trail dead ends here about six miles short of Tower.
• Two miles from Trygg Road to Eagles Nest Township Hall – this creates 17 miles of continuous trail from Tower to about five miles past Eagles Nest…NOTE the trail dead ends here, there is no connectivity to Ely.
• Three miles from the Hwy 169 underpass to Cty Rd 88 near Ely – this a stand alone chunk of trail.

No actual completion dates are available at this time, we’ll keep you posted.
