Great River Energy - Mesabi TrailSM Bike Tour '13
Ride for the fun or ride for the challenge, either way mark your calendar for Saturday, August 3, 2013 when Great River Energy and the Mesabi TrailSM again join forces in northern Minnesota to support two state traditions; recreational trails and AMPERS-"Diverse Radio for Minnesota's Communities". The Great River Energy Mesabi TrailSM Tour offers great food, music and family entertainment, all rolled into a unique riding experience on one of Minnesota's premier paved bike trails.

Our tour route changes periodically as we showcase different portions of the Mesabi Trail - the 2013 route will travel from Grand Rapids to Virginia.
Back by popular demand - the 67 mile "Mesabi Century Ride" (it's a metric century).

Your choice of four different tour routes, all ending with a slam bang finish at Virginia's Olcott Park. The Mesabi (metric) Century is 67 miles from Grand Rapids, 48 miles from Marble, 26 miles from Hibbing and 13 miles from Buhl. Live concert and picnic dinner at the finish line.Commemorative tour t-shirt for each participant.Three Day Mesabi TrailSM Wheel Pass.Transportation of riders and bicycles from the finish to their chosen start point at the start of the day (no transportation at the end of the day for riders or their bikes) Rest stops along the tour route with food, refreshments, and entertainment.
