On the Trail, four miles south of Virginia, is the city of Eveleth, population 4,000. Served by Highway 53 (running north and south), the community mixes its beautiful surroundings with a small town feel. Tourist attractions and ample recreational opportunities lie within Eveleth.
Eveleth is home to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. The World's Largest Hockey Stick, which is located in the downtown area, stands as a reminder of the many great Iron Range hockey players.
Eveleth has plenty of things to do. There is a golf course, public playground, lakes available for swimming or boating and future home to Mesabi Station.
Eveleth has most major services. Lodging, restaurants, service stations, shopping, a library, city hall, a post office, and medical facilities are available.
